What’s independent Baptist?

An independent Baptist church is just that, independent. We believe that every church has the right of self governance without interference from an outside hierarchy. Our church is an old fashioned church where we still sing hymns and believe in preaching God’s Word.

The main difference between an independent Baptist church and a Southern Baptist church is that we support missionaries individually (as opposed to the Cooperative Program). What’s great is that we get to meet every missionary that we support!
